Indiana is facing a nursing shortage, and nurses like you are the solution! As an experienced nurse, you’ve had an impact on the lives of countless patients, and now you have the opportunity to impact the lives of countless students.
We are expanding our highly successful nursing program and want you to put your expertise to work as an instructor at Ivy Tech to help prepare the nurses of tomorrow.
#1 in Nursing
Whether you’re a current or a retired nurse, we need you to help guide our students to their own successful nursing careers. We’re now hiring MS-level nurses statewide to teach students in our successful nursing degree program.
No need to worry if you don’t have any teaching experience, we are prepared to offer training and mentorship to guide you towards a successful career in the classroom.
The School of Nursing programs are approved by the Indiana State Board of Nursing and are accredited by the National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
Ivy Tech recognizes the importance of program accreditation to ensure continuous quality improvement, focusing on excellence and student success. The mission of the NLN CNEA is to “promote excellence and integrity in nursing education globally through an accreditation process that respects the diversity of program mission, curricula, students, and faculty; emphasizes a culture of continuous quality improvement; and influences the preparation of a caring and competent nursing workforce.” Excellence in education benefits our students, employers, our communities, and the healthcare workforce.
