BLOOMINGTON – Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington is offering new, free training programs paid for by the state’s Next Level Jobs (NLJ) Workforce Ready Grant. The grant covers the cost of tuition for students who qualify, and training leads to jobs in high-demand industries in Indiana.

Requirements to qualify for NLJ free training are not income-based. Tuition costs are covered for students who meet the following requirements: must be an Indiana resident, have a high school diploma or high school equivalency, have not previously earned a Next Level Jobs-eligible certification, have not earned an associate degree or higher, and file a FAFSA.

Free training programs at Ivy Tech help students who have not earned college credentials prepare for a high-wage, high-demand job and increase their career opportunities.

New training programs include:

  • Building & Property Maintenance Technician
  • Child Development Associate (CDA)
  • Early Childhood Education
  • Firefighter
  • Holistic Health
  • Information Technology (8 new certifications)
  • Medical Office Administration
  • Paralegal Studies
  • Semiconductor Fabrication
  • Supply Chain Analytics
  • Website Design
