Ivy Tech Community College hosted its 2026 Ivy Tech Day on Tuesday—marking the fourth annual day of giving dedicated to supporting the over 210,000 students statewide, including more than 31,000 students at Ivy Tech Indianapolis.

Ivy Tech Indianapolis received 178 contributions totaling $45,106, the fourth-highest amount raised among all Ivy Tech campuses in the state. These contributions directly support and advance student success through scholarships, academic resources, wraparound services, and cutting-edge technology and equipment. Every dollar raised plays a vital role in making high-quality education and career preparation accessible and affordable for thousands of families in Marion, Boone, and Hendricks Counties.

Across Indiana, Ivy Tech raised a collective $614,446 from more than 3,100 gifts to benefit students at all 19 campuses. The generosity of donors strengthens Ivy Tech’s impact—both on individual lives and on the broader economy.

This year’s giving total surpasses 2025’s results and brings the four-year Ivy Tech Day total to more than $1.7 million, a milestone that directly supports Indiana’s future workforce, tied to Indiana’s dynamic economy, including pharmaceutical manufacturing, early childhood education, cybersecurity, and a leading two-year nursing program that awards more associate degrees than any other institution in the U.S.

“We are so proud to break our one-day giving record, and so grateful to our alumni, partners, and friends for once again generously supporting our students in meaningful ways that will benefit our state,” said Dr. Marty Pollio, president of Ivy Tech Community College. “Their generosity will empower our students to reach goals that will support our communities.”

On the Indianapolis campus and at its sites across the service area, the Ivy Tech Day spirit continued the celebration with breakfast at all Indy sites courtesy of Centier Bank. Lunch was catered by Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering at the downtown campus, Ivy Tech alumnus Brady Foster of Foster’s Cafe and Catering at the Lawrence site, and pizza was provided at the Public Safety building and Automotive Technology Center. Throughout the day, students, alumni, faculty, and staff engaged in activities including a student panel, free headshots, arts and crafts, life-size games, popcorn, plant pot painting, and ended with the very popular Pie-A-Faculty event.

Thanks to the generous support of Marianne Glick, the Indianapolis Campus Marianne Glick Giving Ladder Challenges were unlocked for a total of $5,000 for the campus. This challenge gift inspired others to give by encouraging participation, and was a key driver in the success of our giving day.

Ivy Tech Day is a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together across our 19 campuses. Here in Indianapolis, we’re incredibly grateful for every donor—no matter the size of the gift—who helps create opportunities for our students. Your support strengthens our campus and the futures of those we serve.

– Hap Durkin, Indianapolis Vice Chancellor of Development
