Indianapolis, IN – May 22, 2024 – Ivy Tech Indianapolis and Indiana University (IU) Indianapolis are collaborating to host two joint assistance events to support Indianapolis area college students in filing their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2024-2025 school year. This initiative comes in response to the delayed release of the FAFSA this year and the introduction of a new FAFSA form, which has presented challenges for many students.

To ensure all students have the opportunity to complete their FAFSA with expert guidance, Ivy Tech Indianapolis and IU Indianapolis are offering in-person assistance on the following dates:

  • Monday, June 10, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Friday, June 14, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

These events will be held at the following location with ample free parking:

  • Ivy Tech Indianapolis Campus
    North Meridian Center

50 W. Fall Creek Parkway N. Drive
Indianapolis, IN 46208

Both events are open to all current and prospective college students in the Indianapolis area who need assistance with their FAFSA submissions. Financial aid experts from both institutions will be available to provide personalized help and answer any questions students may have about the new FAFSA process.

“The changes and delays with this year’s FAFSA have caused confusion and concern for many students,” said Monique Ware, director of financial aid at Ivy Tech Indianapolis. “Our goal is to provide the necessary support to ensure every student can successfully complete their FAFSA and access the financial aid they need. By partnering with IU Indianapolis, we are expanding our reach and resources to better serve our student community. We encourage all students who need help with their FAFSA to attend these events and take advantage of the expertise available.”
