Achieve Your Degree is a smart way for working adults to learn new skills and earn a certificate or associate degree from Ivy Tech with no tuition costs. Ivy Tech staff will come to your workplace to help you through every step of the process. To get started:
- See if your employer is part of the Achieve Your Degree program. You can do this by asking your internal HR department or checking the list of participating employers on this page. The list of statewide employer partners can be found above, and you can check for additional local partnerships lower on this page in the "Local Achieve Your Degree Employer Partnerships" dropdown. Select the campus location closest to your employer.
If you are an employee of a qualifying agency or department for the State of Indiana Personnel Department partnership, you must complete an employer-specific application. Learn more about the unique application process for the State of Indiana Personnel Department - Apply for the Achieve Your Degree program. Each employer partner has a unique online application for the program. Call or email the Achieve Your Degree contact at your local campus to request the application link of your employer.

State of Indiana Government Employee Achieve Your Degree Partnership
In partnership with the State of Indiana, Ivy Tech is offering state employees an affordable education with no upfront costs. The Achieve Your Degree (AYD) program offers the flexibility to pursue educational opportunities in more than 70 degree programs, more than 40 of which are offered at the Terre Haute campus. The Achieve Your Degree partnership with the state allows tuition assistance of up to $5,250 per academic year to eligible employees. Students can earn an associate degree, short-term certificate, or workforce certification in numerous fields. Contact your agency's HR Director to learn more or visit the webpage.
