This introductory course provides a high-level overview of Artificial Intelligence (AI). In this session, students will gain a basic understanding of key AI concepts, explore real-world applications, and discuss the ethical implications of the rapidly evolving field.
1) Learn multiple AI platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) to use in everyday situations.
2) Understand the real-world applications of AI in real-world situations, including drafting emails, creating PowerPoint presentations, trip planning, creating a rubric, and much more.
3) Discuss the ethical considerations of using AI.
4) Understand how to use AI and consider advanced classes at Ivy Tech.
