Forklift Training

The forklift classes will have both classroom and hands-on components.

We will train the students for Class IV (internal combustion engine) training certificates and will include training for sit down forklifts. In the morning, the students will be in the classroom portion, which culminates in a test. In the afternoon, this class will offer vehicle walk around experience and instruction and driving practice time for students. The practice session for forklift driving will be outside, so students are advised to dress for the weather.

Topics include PIT stability, operational procedures, load handling, and the importance of inspections and regular maintenance.

This class is currently only offered at our Terre Haute campus.
