Ivy Tech Bloomington is hosting FREE one-week Summer Semiconductor Workshops designed to introduce high school students and adults to one of Indiana's fastest-growing and most important industries.
These sessions offer hands-on learning in:
- Circuit board assembly
- Soldering
- Robotics + automation programming
- Cleanroom simulations
Participants will also visit area high-tech manufacturing sites and gain insight into the tools and technologies used in the microelectronics field. They'll hear from industry reps and hiring managers.
High School Summer Workshop

Adult Summer Workshop
June 15-18, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Tailored for adults looking to upskill, reskill, or explore a new career in microelectronics & advanced manufacturing
