Project Supervisors play a critical role in ensuring the safe and compliant execution of asbestos abatement projects. To remain accredited, supervisors must complete annual refresher training equivalent to an EPA-approved course. While OSHA does not issue licenses, it does require ongoing training for workers, competent persons, inspectors, and supervisorsand this course fully meets those requirements.
Delivered under the supervision of the Ivy Tech Environmental Management Institute (Indianapolis), this refresher keeps experienced project supervisors up to date on:
- Recent changes to federal, state, and local asbestos regulations
- State-of-the-art abatement and jobsite management practices
- Key concepts and responsibilities introduced during initial supervisor accreditation
- Practical solutions to real-world challenges through discussion with peers and instructors
