Project Supervisors play a critical role in ensuring the safe and compliant execution of asbestos abatement projects. To remain accredited, supervisors must complete annual refresher training equivalent to an EPA-approved course. While OSHA does not issue licenses, it does require ongoing training for workers, competent persons, inspectors, and supervisors�and this course fully meets those requirements.

Persons completing the course and attaining at least 70% on the course examination will be issued a certificate for completing the licensing/accreditation process.
Note: Although not mandated by the federal rule, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky (and several other states) require that all persons taking a refresher course must pass a course examination with the minimum of 70%. The examination and a review of the material covered in the initial course are a part of each course.
It is important to complete your refresher training in a timely fashion. Although the federal rule allows you to miss your refresher training for a day less than one year, Indiana requires that you take it within 18 months of the last valid training or re-take the initial course. (And, of course, you cannot perform any work while your license is expired.)
