    1. Apply for Graduation via MyIvy. Search "Apply to Graduate".
    2. RSVP for the ceremony
    3. Order your cap, gown, and tassels

  • There are over 5,500 available parking spaces outside the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Parking does cost extra, and you can see rates below. Cash, debit, and credit cards are all accepted.

  • Don't Miss Out on the Alumni Reception!

    Join us for refreshments, dancing, freebies, and time to celebrate YOU immediately after the ceremony at the Coliseum. Guests are welcome, and there's no cost to attend.

  • Photography by Laura Pentecost will be taking photos of each grad as they cross the stage. They'll be available for purchase after graduation.*

    Personal photos and videos are encouraged. There will be several photo opportunities at the Alumni Reception and around the Coliseum.

    You must have a cap and gown as well as a tassel in order to participate in the ceremony. Students who do not have a cap and gown will not be permitted to participate, so pay close attention to the ordering deadlines. If you require assistance in acquiring your cap and gown, please fill out this form.

    CAP & GOWN DEADLINES:

    1st Deadline: April 7
    2nd/Final Deadline: April 17
    *Your cap and gown will be shipped to your home address within 2 weeks.

Common Questions

There isn't one. Graduates will line up by school/program. You will be directed by Ivy Tech staff on how to line up, enter the arena, receive your diploma, return to your seat, and exit the arena. Don't worry, we'll guide you each step of the way!

You should arrive in your black cap and gown with comfortable shoes and business casual attire (no jeans, shorts, or flip flops). Plan to give your personal belongings to your guest, there is no place to store them during the ceremony. 

Don't panic. You can still participate in graduation by borrowing a plain black cap and gown from someone you know, or you can buy them at a different store.

Yes, for extended periods including up and down ramps. If you need accommodations, contact DSS prior to the day of the ceremony at 260-480-4110. Handicap-accessible seating is available on the ground level of the Coliseum Arena for guests. See a Coliseum usher upon arrival.

There is no limit to the number of guests you can bring.

There is no admission fee for the ceremony. Parking at the Coliseum is $8. Cap/gown/tassels cost $45.98. Graduation announcements are available for purchase here.
