There are a few seasonal and year-round options run by our Hospitality students including the Grasshopper Food Truck and Kelty's Kafé.
Plus, our Hospitality Administration students are hard at work each semester to prepare delicious meals while also immersing themselves in hands-on educational experiences.
Each 8 weeks, our Hospitality Administration program invites the campus and community to enjoy meals specially prepared and selected by students. They take turns preparing and serving themed meals for class credit in a project-based learning experience. The students rotate through various positions in the kitchen and dining room, creating a full-service restaurant atmosphere.

Food On Campus

We get it. Food is expensive, and food insecurity is a real issue. That's why we offer our students a free food pantry on campus. The Community Cupboard is located in Harshman Hall, Room 1102, and open five days a week.It's our mission to meet our students where they are and provide them everything they need to successfully reach their goals. Anyone is welcome to donate to the Community Cupboard. You can find a list of accepted items below. They can be dropped off at the food pantry's location.
Items we accept and carry include:
- Canned and dry foods
- Snacks
- Feminine Products
- Diapers
- School Supplies

Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. -
Go on a foodie road trip without leaving Fort Wayne! Grasshopper Food Truck serves all the summer staples with a food truck vibe on Ivy Tech’s Coliseum Campus, Door 25.Bonus: you’ll be helping our students get real-world experience as entrepreneurs and restauranteurs.
The food truck is seasonal and has limited hours every summer. A weekly updated menu can be found on our Grasshopper Food Truck page when it's running. We hope to see you in summer 2024!

Located in the heart of Coliseum Campus, Kelty's offers a wide variety of baked goods and grab-n-go lunches throughout the year.Our Hospitality Administration students work hard to make delicious waffles, specialty coffee, famous cinnamon rolls, muffins, and so much more.
