Altrusa Foundation Scholarship

Each year, we award more than $325,000 in grant funding to our Altrusa and ASTRA Clubs, as well as to international agencies, to support healthcare, educational, and economic development initiatives that truly impact thousands of children and under-resourced communities.

  • The requirements for submission are as follows: Applicants must have graduated from high school at least ten (10) years ago.
  • Applicants must be seeking a certificate or undergraduate degree.
    Applicants must have 25% of the course completed at the time of application.
  • Applicants must be a US citizen or permanent resident of Central Indiana.
  • Applicants must be students who are in good standing with a minimum GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale.
  • There are also a few essay questions on the application that need to be answered.

Early Childhood Education Scholarship

This scholarship fund provides financial assistance to students pursuing their educational goals through the Early Childhood Education program at Ivy Tech Community College.

To be eligible for this award: Preferred: Students who do not currently receive finaicial assistance. Students who have maintainted a 2.5 GPA or greater.

Independent Insurance Agents

Local insurance industry professionals created this scholarship to provide Ivy Tech Indianapolis students in the insurance program with a scholarship to help the next generation of insurance professionals.

Robinson Memorial Scholarship

Open

The Robinson Memorial Scholarship should be awarded to a student with one or more of the following “risk” factors, which will impact their ability to graduate.

1. They work 30 Hrs or more per week.

2. They are a single parent.

3. They are the first in their family to attend College.

4. They are a part-time student (enrolled in 12 hours or fewer each semester).

5. They meet the requirements to receive federal financial aid.

If a student can not be found meeting the second criteria stated above, a student: who the College deems most needing financial aid, should be awarded the Robinson Memorial Scholarship.

· The recipient must remain in good academic standing. Failure to make satisfactory progress or being on academic probation will terminate the award.

·  Scholar’s award may be used for tuition, fees, books and expenses.

Yvonne Perkins Memorial Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship is made available through the generosity of memorial gifts and the Yvonne Perkins family.   Ms. Perkins was a strong supporter of Ivy Tech, where she served as President of the Regional Board of Trustees and co-chaired an incredibly successful campaign.  Ms. Perkins was a true champion of student success.
