Mission Statement
TRIO SSS at Ivy Tech Central Indiana is dedicated to supporting first-generation students, students from low-income families, and students with disabilities. TRIO’s mission is to remove barriers to student success through academic, career, and transfer advising, academic tutoring, and financial literacy. TRIO supports students in identifying and pursuing their academic and personal goals, leading to educational achievement and enhanced career opportunities.

TRIO SSS is 81% funded by the U.S. Department of Education ($275,105 annually) with 19% additional funding from Ivy Tech Community College Central Indiana. The program serves 160 students annually.
