The Celestine Johnson and Dorothy Hardy Scholarship was created in honor of Celestine Johnson upon her retirement as the Executive Director of Human Resources for the Kokomo Campus of Ivy Tech. Many of Celestine's friends and colleagues contributed to this scholarship in her honor. Celestine also wanted to include her mother in the scholarship name since her mother, Dorothy Hardy was such a positive influence in her life.

Chancellor Stephen J. Daily Legay Scholarship

Steve Daily began his career at Ivy Tech as the Logansport site manager in December 1995. In July 1996, he was named executive dean of what was then known as Region 5, and in 2000, he became chancellor of what now is the Kokomo Campus, which includes campuses and operational sites in Kokomo, Logansport, Peru, and Rochester. This scholarship was created by staff, faculty, friends and family of Chancellor Steve Daily.

Both Milt and Jean served as regional trustees, both were named Benefactors of the Year and both have been recognized with honorary degrees.
