Ivy Tech and eCampus Offer Financial Aid Line of Credit for Educational Purchases
Ivy Tech Community College has partnered with eCampus to establish a financial aid line of credit for the purchase of educationally related items using the student’s excess pending financial aid once tuition and fees are satisfied.
Any purchases made against this line of credit will be posted to the student’s college account and will reduce the amount of the refund the student may receive. Students do not need to use their financial aid line of credit to purchase required textbooks and materials included in the Ivy+ Textbooks program.
Students can use their financial aid line of credit for books, supplies, tools and uniforms. This includes printers, computers, tablets, and laptops. Students are limited to one computer, laptop or tablet per year. Apparel can be purchased with their financial aid line of credit with an approved Title IV Authorization to Pay Non-Institutional Fees on file.
No food or beverages, cell phones, video games, gift items, or prepaid/gift cards can be purchased with a financial aid line of credit.
The current maximum line of credit in the bookstore is $1,500 per term. Students enrolled in the Nursing, Practical Nursing, and Dental Hygiene programs have a maximum of $2,000 per term. These maximums are subject to change.
