Registered Nurse (RN) Refresher Theory (For Current and Former RNs Only)

This course is for former and current RNs. The course provides a comprehensive review of medical surgical nursing, pharmacology, and dosage calculations. Students will review the role of the registered nurse as a member of the healthcare team, as well as reexamine professionalism and care coordination in relation to the role of the registered nurse in care of patients across the lifespan. Students will review, learn, and practice to progress towards contemporary nursing practice, in a self-paced online environment with an experienced instructor available to support as needed.

This program is not a part of a degree program or NCLEX prep.

Employee registration is coordinated by the Program Manager supporting your training. Depending on the course, employees may register in person, through an organization-provided roster, or via a self-registration link. Your Program Manager will guide you through the best option for your specific training.
